This little accessory allows you to easily embellish your knit sweaters, afghans, scarves, and more. The “6 Petal Flower” is a flower pattern created by knitting six, same-sized petals separately and then assembling them by simply sewing the petals together, starting at the base.

Materials

DK weight yarn
US#4 – 3.5mm needles (straight or circular, doesn’t matter)
Sewing needle
Sewing thread (matching colour as yarn)
Beads, pearls, buttons, or sequins of your preference

Optional (if you’re making it into a brooch):

A small piece of felt
Safety pin or brooch pin
Any DK weight yarn
