Named for a county in northwestern Oregon, the beautiful Multnomah shawl pattern is a fairly quick knit that predominately uses the garter stitch. Once you start on the border, the design switches things up by using a feather and fan pattern. So if you’re new to this particular pattern or simply need practice, this is a great piece to work on.

  • 412 yards (377 meters)
  • 125 grams (4.41 ounces)
  • 70% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon (Polyamide)

US #3 (3.25 mm)

Gauge:
24 stitches and 21 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
